Each year in the US only, smoking is the most preventable cause of the death ealier. The cigarette smokers are die around 400,000 per year. And also 3000 of those non smoker die due to the diagnose in lung cancer, which believe that they are the second hand smoker.

What is the second hand smoke

Second hand smoke is a mixture of the smoke produce by burning the cigarette, cigar or pipe, and the smoke blow out from lungs of those smokers. This smoke remains in the air for hours after the cigarette has been put out. Continue to breath the air that has smoke in there will make you the second smoker, and it will effected your health. The lung cancers is the has been proved that caused by the second hand smoker, including the ear infection in the children and other respiratory infection.

The effects of second hand smoke.

The most victim of the second hand smoke is the children. In most cases, the children are exposed to smoke at home either one of their parents are smoking. Even during the pregnancy, the exposure to the smoke as the second hand smokers also effect the development of their organs or their brain, lungs, or the other vital organs.

They baby whose mothers are smoking during the pregnancy are the victim that get the high risk of the defect in the birth of the child. The chance of the baby born with the low birth rate, cleft lip and palate is very high. The SID also happen in the maternal smoking.

The otitis media and the middle ear infection in the infant also related to the second hand smoking as it show in the recent research, especially, those who expose to the smoke in the first three of their life. The draw in second hand smoker might lead in causing an irritation to the Eustachian tube which connects the back of the nose to the middle ear. This impatience will cause swelling and obstruction of the Eustachian tube, which then causes disparity of pressure of the equalization in the middle part of the ear.

Little children often get a childhood asthma due to the exposure as the early to second hand smoke, and it becomes worst with the continued exposure. Besides asthma, children might also develop the sinusitis, cystic fibrosis, and others chronic respiratory diseases when continuing the inhalation of second hand smoke. Children are affected by second hand smoke may have difficulty coping with bronchitis and pneumonia.

Preventing your child from being the second hand smoking

The best way is to give your child all of these hurdles to quit smoking, quit the smoke is not only good for your body but also helping your children to from the smoke and those potential diseases that may come with the smoke. If you have the hardness with quitting smoking, try not to smoke in the enclosed area, or any places where there is a large number of people, and never ever smoke near your children.

Always keep it in mind that once you smoke you are not only harm yourself, but also the others whom could be the one you love most. Take your responsibility and take action --quit smoking.
